You’ve decided to hold a private party. Maybe it’s an anniversary. Maybe it’s a birthday. Or maybe it’s just a party for the sake of having a party (which is as good a reason as any). What elements do you need to consider?
Number one surely must be: food and drink. Every party needs food and drink, (though some of the best parties tend to be more along the lines of ‘drink and food’) and we wouldn’t presume to advise you about alcohol options. We are sure you can sort that out for yourself. But when it comes to food, we can offer an opinion and that’s because we own a mobile pancake company – basically we travel the country making pancakes at all manner of private parties and functions to mark all kinds of special occasions. We make crepes at parties at your home from our mobile crepe stand and as such, we’ve seen a wide variety of parties and know that pancakes are a sure-fire winner.
Most home parties involve people with a wide range of ages, from kids to pensioners. And one thing is for certain, just about everyone loves pancakes, meaning your choice of food is sure to be a hit if you hire our mobile pancake stand. In a nutshell, our experience has shown that crepes are your one-stop shop for successful party catering. You’ve basically got all bases covered: everyone likes them, they look good, and you can have a choice of sweet and savoury, meaning no other catering is required. In fact we offer twenty different pancake flavours on our menu, so your guests will probably never have seen so much choice – particularly at a party!
In addition to the food and drink is entertainment. So you could just drag your expensive speakers into the garden and hope it doesn’t rain. Or you could splash out a bit and hire a professional musician or two to provide a bit of atmosphere. Or if it’s a more informal event, it’s probable that there will be one or two musicians attending as guests, so after the drinks have begun to flow, get a couple of guitars out (as I’m sure if you are anything like me, you’ll probably have several lying around at home!!) and encourage them to start an improvised busk.
And if they are reluctant to play along, tell them they will either get extra party pancakes as payment, or if they refuse, there will be no crepes for them that night!
